STC circuit safety regulation

1. Other than during the scheduled open practice, No machinery will be allowed onto the circuit without prior approval of the Race Management Department; 2. No testing of any kind will be allowed at any part of the circuit other than the racetrack areaŁ» 3. During any scheduled open practice session, drivers or riders must enter the racetrack area according to the timetable or instruction given by the circuit staff at the time(the details are referred to Flow Chart For Practice). The pit exit is the only area allowed to enter onto the racetrack. Drivers or riders may only enter onto the circuit with prior approval of the circuit staff. A track ticket is only valid for each session without any extra driving time given in any form. 4. Any riders or organizers in any open session must register for verification in the Race Management Department, which reserve the right to change the schedule; 5. Any drivers or riders participating in any open practice session must wear the appropriate type of personal protecting equipments approved by FIA and/or FIM for the type of machinery concern. For any racing car with passenger on board must have the prior approval of the Race Management Department. In the authorized cars, the passengers must wear safety helmets and seat belts before they enter onto the racetrack. The minor person who hopes to drive or take a car on the racetrack must obtain the written approval of the guardian, or the STC reserve the right to refuse entry of the car; 6. Any driver or rider with body injury will not be allowed to participate before a medical certificate to certify that he/she is fit to participate in practice. Drink (alcohol) and drive will not be allowed; 7. The Circuit Management may refuse to accept any driver, rider and/or machinery to participate without assigning a reason and their decision will be final; 8. In case of any machinery in trouble on the racetrack during an open session, riders or drivers should leave their machinery at a safe area for recovery at the end of session by the maintenance crew. If the machinery got trapped in a run-off area, driver or rider should get behind the safety barrier immediately and wait for the maintenance crew to have the machinery recovered at the end of the session; 9. During any open practice session, no one is allowed to make any stop on the racetrack, pick up anyone as a passenger, give technical instructions, or race against other drivers or riders. Any action by a driver or rider that will affect the other participants of the session will not be allowed; 10. During an open practice session, no one is allowed to drive in the opposite direction on the racetrack or inside the pit lane area, and no one is allowed to enter onto the racetrack for any reason whatsoever. No one other than circuit official and official vehicle will be allowed to enter onto the racetrack to perform any repair work or recovery of machinery. Any one (including any car) who wishes to enter onto the racetrack in case of an accident must have the prior approval from the circuit official; 11. Smoking is not allowed in the pit lane area. When refueling machinery, ignition must be cut off and at least one team member must hold a fire extinguisher as a precautionary measure; 12. During an open practice session, no one other than the circuit operating staff and its vehicle will be allowed onto racetrack area. Without any prior approval of the Race Management Department, no one is allowed to cross the racetrack or get on to any area of the racetrack. 13. During an open practice session, no one will be allowed to seat or stand on top of the barrier. Action that interferes the progress of any driver or rider well not be allowed. 14. During non-practice period, any one accessible to the racetrack and pit lane area must have prior approval from the circuit management and the security guard should be notified. Speed limit for all the vehicles entering onto the racetrack is 40kph maximum; 15. Drivers/riders entering onto the racetrack must strictly obey the instructions of flags, signal lights or circuit staff; (The details are referred to Diagram Of Circuit Flags.) 16. All the riders/drivers to exercise in STC must realize that racing event / activity is a kind of speed sport, which has excitant influence on sensory organs of body and has requirement for physical condition. Therefore, all the participants must make sure that they do not suffer from diseases such as heart disease, vertigo, hysteria, parkinsonism, psychosis, disease relevant to blood vessel of brain or heart, high blood pressure and nerve system disease before they are engaged in exercise or any other activities in STC. 17. Racing is a danger sport; all participants should understand that they participate at their own risk. STC and its official will not be responsible for any incident happened on any part of the circuit during any session. All drivers and riders agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Shanghai Tianma Circuit Ltd. and their respective officials, servants, representatives and agents from and against all actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands. In respect of death, injury, loss of or damage to the person or property, driver(s), riders, passenger(s) or mechanic(s) (as the case may be) howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with taking part in the event and notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies, their officials, servants, representatives or agents will not bear the responsibility for the above; 18. Any one who violates the regulation should bear the responsibility for his /her own death, injury or loss of property. The violator and his/her organization or the organizer of activity should bear all the responsibilities for death, injury or loss of property of circuit staff, circuit vehicles, the circuit or other people. 19.
